Pour yourself a glass of Lemonade & Elope.

Life as we know it has changed; BIG TIME! Many industries are hurting while few are thriving. Lives put on hold while many lives have been lost... All I can say is, 2020, what the hell?!

With that being said, I'm not going to dwell on all the negative because at the end of the day, how is that going to better me in life? It's not. So I found a story written in Boston Magazine that I would like to share about a couple that made the best of an unpredictable situation.

A Louisiana couple planned a Boston Elopement amidst the outbreak. They were going to have a big wedding at first then thought, “All these people come and the bride and groom never see each other because they’re busy saying hello and thank you.” At the end of the day it’s just about us two, so we were like, “Why don’t we just elope and then when we come back, we’ll celebrate with everybody.”

They planned everything within 8 weeks. Hired the photographer and had her assistant officiate it. "This was definitely one of those experiences that will go down in the books. We said our vows to each other, gave our rings, and we kissed. Then we walked around and took pictures in different spots all within a block or two. It was drizzling a little bit, but none of that even mattered. We weren’t really concerned about anything. It was our wedding and we said, “Let’s make the best of this as much as possible.” It’s kind of a surreal moment."

What an amazing love story to pass down to future generations! At the end of the day, it's just about the two of you and your love for one another... To all those engaged out there, keep your spirits up, stay safe, & strong! We will get through all this together!
