Sea Ranch, California

The small town of Sea Ranch is known for its rustic ocean vistas, rugged beaches, and environmentally-minded dwellings. This place is where the architecture is designed to fit into the environment, resulting in a seamless design. Wood-paneled homes reminiscent of the surrounding redwoods naturally fit into the landscape. This quiet coastal town offers you the opportunity to calm your mind and convene with nature (www.sonoma.com/explore/sea-ranch).

Only 90 minutes North of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, this coastal town stretches over 10 miles of the beautiful Pacific Ocean coastline.

Let's talk and plan out our day for what an Elopement would be like in Sea Ranch, California:

Just imagine starting your day with an early visit to Twofish Baking Company, the neighborhood bakery where the line forms before the doors open. The bakery is committed to crafting bread the old-fashioned way—their fresh baguettes take three days to make (www.sonoma.com/explore/sea-ranch). Relax, enjoy, savor the moment.

After breakfast, feel free to head back to your hotel or rental and start preparations for the day. Would you like for me to capture the process of that? - Cause I will! Are you interested in having a First Look on your special day because those are some of the sweetest and heartfelt images of all time! We'll coordinate those details in advance.

Now, have you heard about the Sea Ranch Chapel? This architecturally beautiful chapel was created as a non-denominational sanctuary for meditation, prayer, or spiritual renewal. We could take First Look pictures or even Portraits outside the chapel - however, if you would like to officially book the chapel to exchange your vows, chapel reservation fees are $510.00 for 2 hours (www.thesearanchchapel.org).

Next, we can make our way to one of the Beach access points near us or select the perfect location based on what we're looking for.

Shell Beach - this quiet, sandy beach has walking trails that take you through pines and meadows to get to the ocean with tide pools, rocks, and beautiful views (.65 miles one way).

Black Point Trail - Crosses the bluffs to a curving, quarter-mile beach reached by a steep staircase. This beach is just north of Black Point cape and popular with surfers (.25 miles one way).

Bluff Top Trail - Runs along the headlands from Gualala Point Regional Park to Walk on Beach. See cypress groves, windswept meadows, and unique sandstone formations (3 miles one way).

Any of these beach access points will be perfect for your intimate Elopement Ceremony & Sunset Portraits. Afterward, a good celebration is in order and Sea Ranch has a few amazing restaurants that can make that happen.

-Cove Azul Bar & Grill

-Vue Kitchen

-Pier | Chowder House & Taproom (a little bit of a drive up North but WORTH IT - maybe for lunch the next day)..
