2020 is slowly coming to an end and I'm sitting here reflecting on how this entire year was for me - my 1st FULL year as a photographer. I've learned a TON and I still have a ton to learn. I'm narrowing in on my editing style and potentially my niche - more on that later. For now, I've finished out the year with some incredible Fall Mini Sessions at a beautiful venue (Shiraz Garden) & Full Family Sessions in Bastrop, Texas.
I've had the opportunity to try out some new prompts during Family sessions that really brought life to my images. I've been able to create a Family Guide (in PDF form) that gives a start to finish look at what to expect during a session with me. These are my ways of bringing value to my clients - trying to educate them on the process and even take away any unknowns or burdens they might have.
This is what you can expect:
☝️ First & Foremost, I am a Lifestyle Photographer - that is my style of choice.
I enjoy capturing the moment as it is. Real, raw, authentic emotions. I initiate games, prompts, and tickle attacks. what may seem like chaos to a mom is beautiful in-camera.
Here is what you should expect booking with me:
1. Welcome Guide - After signing the contract & paying your deposit, I will email you a PDF copy of my Welcome Guide. This guide gives you information about myself, styling tips to look your best, additional items to bring to enhance your experience, and contact info.
2. Reminder Email - One week prior to your session, I will reach out to check-in, give you a friendly reminder, and see if you have any additional questions for me. This is the perfect time to address outfit concerns, weather updates, etc.
3. Day of Session - Arrive 5-10 minutes early - bring whatever necessary to 'encourage' kiddos during the session and prepare to have fun. Parents having fun means kids will have fun. Both parents interacting with kids during games & prompts will make for great pictures.
