This post is a little different than normal. I'd like to think I specialize in Couples, Families, and Maternity photography but I had a friend come visit this past weekend in Austin and this photo session happened...
First & Foremost, let me say that I'm extremely impressed with her modeling skills (ANTM episodes clearly paid off). The average person doesn't feel comfortable in front of a camera trying a variation of poses. They just don't - it's unnatural. That is why lifestyle photography is nice (& popular) because people (especially families with little children) don't need to have their stuff together, the idea is to capture the moment no matter how chaotic it is...
So needless to say, I knew we were going to have a fun photoshoot in locations that I was dying to try out but I didn't want them to look too posey but this... I wasn't expecting this. I had such a good time shooting this session that it got me thinking (and I'm still thinking and debating) about narrowing down my niche even more.
I'm proud of this body of work - or should I say ART. This might be my most successful work of art thus far.
