Why so serious?...
I get asked the question a TON! Will my pictures turn out good if I have a very serious child? Take it from a mom that has a serious child of her own - as long as they're not crying during the session, we will capture a multitude of perfect shots.
When all is said and done, the perfect shot doesn't come from the child looking directly at the camera anyway. It comes from the moments your Family creates during the session - that includes the cuddles, candid moments, action shots, and everything in between. If I know that I have a serious child coming to a session, I like to start out with just walking around, looking for different things like rocks/twigs/etc... after a little bit, this leads to playing games and as the session progresses, they get more and more comfortable with looking at me or interacting with me.
My sessions are more lifestyle base which just means that the images I capture will have a natural, organic, non-posed, authentic feel to them. These beautiful 'in-between' images are perfect for telling the story of your session in photo albums or candid hallway prints. Candid memories captured are the best! No need to stress Mama... your beautiful story will be captured & told.
